Adjunct Faculty - Performing Arts

Position Description

The Department of Performing Arts at Rider University seeks adjunct instructors of theatre for the fall semester beginning Sept. 4, 2024. Courses needed for the spring 2025 semester will also be included in this search. These positions are to teach courses in voice/speech for the actor, professional development for actors with focus on NYC, introduction to acting, scene study, and Shakespeare acting.

Position Requirements

    • BA, BFA, or MFA in Acting
    • Demonstrated advanced training in vocal work for acting

 

 

Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience

    • Past experience teaching at an institution of higher education
    • Professional acting and/or vocal coaching experience
