Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION:Part-time position. Under the supervision of the Associate Dean of Business Sciences. Performs all aspects of instruction for the Marketing Management program. Part-time position based on a semester system. The person in this position is responsible for providing instruction necessary to develop and sustain the Marketing Management program that prepares students with employable skills for business and industry. Classes are taught on multiple campuses, both day and evening, and online.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Educational Level:

  • Master’s in Marketing or a Marketing related field with18 graduate semester hours in Marketing
  • MBA with a concentration in Marketing or 18 graduate semester hours in Marketing OR
  • MBA with documented work experience in Marketing
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (In addition to the minimum qualifications)

· Doctorate degree

· Industry experience in the field of expertise

· Appropriate industry credentials

· Experience with instruction in a postsecondary setting using Blackboard or other online learning management system

SALARY/BENEFITS: Pay per course; there are no state benefits. Please be aware that all Chattahoochee Technical College employees must be paid by DIRECT DEPOSIT unless exempted by the State Accounting Office based on “hardship” evidence provided by the employee.
