KJ is seeking a dynamic Senior Graphics Designer who will support the enhancement of our visual identity across various platforms, with a primary focus on conferences, internal and external presentations, strategic requests, and strategic initiatives. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with senior leadership to craft compelling visuals that align with our brand vision and objectives.

As our Senior Graphics Designer, you'll drive process innovation and improvement, ensuring all deliverables meet company standards and deadlines. Collaborating with marketing, communication, and technical teams, you'll contribute creatively to strategic pursuits, interviews, and technical submissions. Your role extends to managing templates, upholding brand guidelines, and elevating our visual communication efforts.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and assembling graphic materials for proposals, presentations, conferences, and interviews.
  • Leading design and production for internal and external use, such as layouts, brochures, signs, and digital ads.
  • Contributing to storyboarding sessions and maintaining graphic standards.
  • Occasionally traveling to other offices for support and developing process improvements.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal clients and supporting external meetings and events, including conferences and outreach efforts.

Additionally, you'll support our recruiting team in expanding the KJ family.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of professional graphic design experience in visual communications.
  • Ability to develop and lead graphic art and layout design for print. Ability to prepare files for print and digital releases.
  • Ability to conceptualize technical and abstract visuals to meet requested objectives.
  • Expert with Microsoft Office products, Adobe Creative Suite applications such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Intermediate knowledge of Wordpress, video editing, and animated images.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, ability to effectively prioritize multiple deadlines
  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior management, supervisors, peers and clients, internally and externally

Work Locations: Portland, OR * Dallas/Fort Worth, TX * San Diego, CA

Salary range for this position is anticipated to be $70,000 to $85,000, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications and geographic location.
