Summary of Job Duties:
The Post Doctoral Fellow scientist in this position will conduct research projects and develop innovative trustworthy artificial intelligence models to achieve privacy, fairness, robustness and interpretation. The Post Doctoral Fellow scientist will work with the supervisor, Dr. Xintao Wu, to develop prototype systems, publish research papers, write grant proposals, supervise doctoral students’ work, and conduct outreach and educational activities on research projects.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. degree in computer science or related areas such as computer engineering, information technology, or statistics conferred by the start of employment
- Academic research track record in machine learning, deep learning, big data analytics, or statistics
- Demonstrated programming skills in machine learning and deep learning
- Demonstrated proficiency in both written and spoken English is required
- Experience with and knowledge of privacy-preserving models, fair learning, and causal inference
- Experience of writing and publishing referred articles in top venues
- Experience of writing proposals and/or supervising students
Additional Information:
Salary Information:
$50,000 - $75,000 (commensurate with education and experience)
