The Metallobiochemistry laboratory in the Department of Chemistry at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) seeks outstanding candidates for federal grant-funded postdoctoral positions. Salary
Salary Range: commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.

Hours per Week
Exempt Position: 40 hours per week.

Essential Functions
This position will include researching grant-funded research projects. Typical activities include protein expression, isolation, and enzyme mechanistic studies through kinetic, spectroscopic, and structural characterizations. Primary techniques include EPR, ENDOR, resonance Raman, LC-MS, X-ray protein crystallography, ITC, unnatural amino acid incorporation into proteins, stopped-flow, rapid freeze-quench, etc.

Required Qualifications
The successful applicant will have a Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry or a related discipline, such as Bininorganic Chemistry, Biophysics, or Structural Biology.
