Envision Radiology is adding a Vice President of Human resources to the team!
Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week | Based in-office - Colorado Springs, CO | Position Pay Range: $170,000 - $212,500
Opportunity for additional, discretionary bonus available

Summary/Objective:

The VP of Human Resources oversees the organization’s overall human capital strategies, policies, objectives, and initiatives and is responsible for creating and executing upon the strategic vision for the human resource function, with a significant focus on innovation and collaboration. By partnering with organizational leadership, this role develops data-driven human capital strategies that proactively meet the needs of a growing, employee-owned organization. This includes establishing market competitive compensation and benefit offerings and policies, delivering effective recruiting and training initiatives, and ensuring company compliance with current labor laws, while remaining informed of developing compliance issues. The VP of Human Resources is responsible for building the organization’s human capital by instilling and reinforcing a strong employee development culture with programs supported by leadership.

Essential Functions

  • Plans, develops, organizes, implements, directs, and evaluates the organization's human capital strategies, processes and performance.
  • Creates and executes strategic vision for human resources function, with a focus on structure, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Leads the design and implementation of human resource communication programs to support and reinforce organizational objectives and comply with regulations.
  • Collaborates with the Director of Culture and Engagement to ensure that the mission and core values of the company are incorporated into human resource initiatives.
  • Ensures recruiting initiatives are effective, innovative and anticipate future organizational needs.
  • Creates and oversees company leadership development programs, supporting leadership in succession planning.
  • Defines and collects key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and identifies areas for improvement.
  • Develops and oversees compensation and benefit programs to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Participates in the development of the organization’s plans and programs as a strategic partner.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The VP of Human Resources is responsible for leadership and operational support to the human resources department which includes company training. This position is responsible for assisting with performance management and hiring of the employees within the department.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

  • An experienced leader and human resources executive with appropriate industry experience, preferably in the healthcare field.
  • An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
  • A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus.
  • A decisive individual who possesses a "big picture" perspective and is well versed in systems.
  • An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
  • A well-organized and self-directed individual who is “politically savvy” and a team player.

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent; or ten to fifteen years related experience and/or training in health care, preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to sell company vision and strategic plan to potential partners.
