Performs routine and moderately complex clerical accounting, regulatory, reporting and financial functions. These duties may include but are not limited to: Analyzing routine to moderately complex data/processes.
Troubleshooting problems; Prepare documents, spreadsheets, graphics and/or presentation materials. Coordinate/administer activities and processes. Answer telephone, coordinate schedule, mail and office equipment. Collect and maintain records/data, manuals, etc., applies knowledge of department operations using established policies and procedures. Participate in projects, process improvement and have contact with internal and external clients. Responsible for documenting all processes in procedural form for auditing purposes. Completes manual processing of payments to ensure funds are deposited and posted accurately to customer accounts. Investigates and resolves complex and sensitive electronic billing and payment processing issues. Completes processing or returned or rejected paper and electronic payments from customers, researches customer accounts, applies the returns, and assesses appropriate charges.

Quals--
Must have knowledge of business and routine accounting practices obtained via job experience in the fields of accounting, finance, etc. Requires clerical accounting and financial experience; education may substitute for the required experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Experience with SAP, Sarbanes-Oxley and other Microsoft products such as PowerPoint, etc. a plus.
