DESCRIPTION

The Publication Design & Virtual Product Manager is responsible for hospital forms - including consents, advance directives, financial responsibility acknowledgement (mostly digital with limited manual forms where electronic isn't feasible).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage 3rd party forms Vendors.
  • Coordinate standardization and digitization of forms.
  • Advise on updates to forms related to policy, regulatory, and statutory changes.*Manage prescription pad ordering and tracking.
  • Provide design services for marketing and communications collateral.
  • Facilitate printing services through 3rd parties.
  • Collaborate with Marketing/Experience/HIMS to support stewardship of brand and experience standards.
  • Proactive tracking and updates to regulatory and policy driven forms.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience with graphic design, hospital forms, health information management, HIPAA compliance, print management and reprographics.
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Advanced project consulting and management skills to ensure operations are running smoothly and deadlines can be met effectively.
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing principles.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable publishing software applications.
  • Advanced skills in originating and maintaining databases for desktop publishing and image storage.
  • Advanced skills to effectively produce visual materials that meet and satisfy the needs of the client.
  • Advanced skills in interpersonal communication to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse client population, staff and vendors.
  • Strong skills in coaching and mentoring lower level staff.
  • Strong skills in negotiating client needs and vendor requirements / pricing.
  • Ability to manage and schedule small to large multiple projects.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $74,300 - $134,500 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $35.58 - $64.42

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
