Growing Health Center has added a new position of Training and Development Coordinator
General Summary: The role of the Employee Training and Development Coordinator is a vital role in fulfilling the mission of Four Rivers Community Health Center. The responsibilities for this position include developing, executing and maintaining a training program for new and existing Four Rivers employees. The Training and Development Coordinator is the key contributor to delivering comprehensive training for clinical support staff.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and evaluates competency-based education and training for clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Performs functions within the organization to promote high quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care, including contributing to the design and delivery of a Medical Assistant Training Program.
- Collaborates with Clinic Directors and Quality Manager (QI) to ensure the program is up to date with the health center’s clinic processes.
- Knowledgeable in Four Rivers jobs roles and responsibilities including but not limited to, medical assisting, care management and referral coordinator.
- Collaborates with QI Manager to provide clinical support training for projects, initiatives, and strategies.
- Assists Human Resources with new medical employee onboarding.
- Coordinates ongoing staff training to ensure all medical staff are adequately trained.
- Works closely with Quality Manager to ensure clinical competencies are up to date.
- Conducts annual training and development needs assessment.
- Completes follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
- Modifies training programs as needed.
- Works effectively as a team member with other management and HR staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Medical Assistant certification
- Clinical experience is highly desirable, but not required.
- The successful applicant must demonstrate high quality interpersonal relations, analytical and organizational skills.
A willingness to learn and grow with the organization is pertinent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Rolla, MO 65401: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
