Without Permission is a non-profit, faith-based organization that works to end sex trafficking through Prevention, Justice, and Restoration. With a national collaborative partnership network, local community involvement, church mobilization and distinctive training programs, our volunteers and staff are making a decided difference in the Central Valley.

Description and General Duties

Without Permission seeks a visionary nonprofit business leader skilled in taking a fast growth non-profit organization to the next level of success. The position will be based in Modesto, CA and have overall responsibility for a growing impactful organization with a $1.0 million annual budget, 13 employees, and 40 regular volunteers.

Distinguishing Characteristics

Combining visionary abilities, strategic partnerships, and Christian faith-filled pastoral leadership, the CEO will lead the organization to continued success while working towards completing the construction of a new building, and a capital raise for that construction. This is a full-time permanent position.

Executive Leadership and Organizational Management

• Provide pastoral, and visionary leadership that supports and guides the organization’s mission to end sex trafficking in the Central Valley of California.
• Present strategic options and plans
• Apply innovative thinking and performance measurements
• Contribute to the strategic plan and drive its implementation

Board Governance

• Maintain regular and ongoing communication with the Board by working closely and openly to ensure ongoing communication of risks, issues, as well as successes

Development and Fundraising

• Drive development and fundraising
• Initiate, cultivate, and extend relationships with individuals, foundations, community and corporate supporters

Financial Management and Administration

• Assume responsibility for the fiscal integrity of the organization
• Monitor budget and ensure maximum utilization of resources
• Build and administer the annual budget, with Board approval

External Relations and Communications

• Represents the organization as chief spokesperson
• Present the organization and its mission, programs, partners, and members in a consistently positive manner
• Oversee the organization’s marketing and public relations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Passion to end sex trafficking, restore survivors of sex trafficking, educating the community, and obliterating the demand for sex for hire
• Prior experience as a CEO, Executive Director
• Strong business acumen and a history of providing visionary leadership at the executive level
• Proven experience executing organization growth and leading a similar or larger size successful nonprofit and/or related entity
• Experience working with and leading a nonprofit Board of Directors
• Excellent written, oral, and public speaking skills
• A bachelor’s or advanced degree

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
