Functions/Duties of Position

This individual is responsible for oversight of the exosome biology project in the lab. As such, they must have prior experience with the isolation and characterization of extracellular vesicles. This individual also assists in planning experimental design and/or designing research standard operating procedures (SOPs). This individual also assumes responsibility for specific components of research project and takes on the responsibility for training and supervising students and junior staff. This person is responsible for writing up research studies as a first-author on manuscripts, and the follow through required to get these manuscripts published. This individual is also responsible for seeking out and applying for independent research funding.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (MD or PhD) in relevant field OR Master's degree in relevant field and 5 years of relevant postdoctoral work experience OR Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 9 years of relevant postdoctoral work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (MD or PhD)

  • 5 years of relevant postdoctoral work experience
