Basic Function: Responsible for all intercollegiate athletic programs. Hire and supervise all coaches. Schedule and oversee all athletic events. Additional assignment in coaching or instruction depending on background and experience. Responsible for overseeing the Fitness Center.

Qualifications: A baccalaureate degree is required with experience as head coach in collegiate athletes. Excellent interpersonal, oral, written, and leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with all constituents. Preferred qualifications: A master's degree with college-level athletics administration knowledge and experience in fundraising, budgeting, and game day management.
Hire, supervise, and evaluate coaches for all intercollegiate athletic programs.
Coordinate game schedules (along with coaches) for all conference and non-conference games.
Plan and coordinate all home games by working with Facilities Management, student workers, outside contractors, game officials, and others.
Provide supervision for all home games including hospitality for opposing team, crowd control, and concessions.
Organize, develop, and lead fundraising efforts for facility improvements and athletic scholarships.
Schedule and supervise facility usage including the Gymnasium and Fitness Center.
Hire, supervise, and evaluate Fitness Center employees.
Determine athletic eligibility for all new, returning, and transfer student athletes.
Assist coaches with monitoring of student athletes related to academic achievement and on-campus living.
Possess technology skills appropriate for the position.
Coordinate the purchase of athletic equipment and maintain the inventory.
Prepare and supervise athletic budget.
Act as department liaison with local media.
Maintain department compliance with all NJCAA, ICCAC, and institutional rules and regulations.
Coordinate athletic student services, including: student-athlete orientation and Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC).
Administer student-athlete drug testing program.
Perform in a manner which strengthens the coordination and cooperation of all organizational components of the College, including opportunities for student recruitment.
