Under the direction of the President/CEO and in collaboration with organization peers, the position will lead, recommend, and/or manage all activities pertaining to public/government relations, communications, and marketing with internal and external audiences for the agency, including employees, trainees, customers, policymakers, other stakeholders, and the general public. Also, as a member of the organization’s Executive Team, help set the organization’s strategic direction and contribute to its successful execution of that plan.

Candidates must have at least ten (10) years of experience in strategic communications (any combination of public relations, government relations, communications, and/or marketing). Some experience managing third-party firms is also preferable. A Bachelor level degree in a related field is also required.
