Job Description

The teaching load is seven courses per year. The Business Administration Department holds accreditation through the ACBSP and stresses active and experiential learning. Faculty are able to get to know students well in small classes typically with fewer than 30 students. The Department is housed in our newest building, the Hagfors Center for Science, Business and Religion. Collaborations within the Department and across the University are valued in order to provide the highest caliber education for our students through opportunities such as internships, faculty/student research and service learning opportunities. Our location in Minneapolis provides broad ranging opportunities for collaboration with industry partners as well as colleagues at the numerous colleges and universities in the Twin Cities.


Job Requirements:


Successful candidates will have a master's degree in accounting, preferably with direct upper level accounting experience or an MBA and a CPA or CMA with five years of direct upper level accounting experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have obtained their degree from an AACSB-accredited program. The preferred candidate will be able to teach a wide variety of lower and upper division courses.
