Job Posting Summary The School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences seeks candidates for temporary positions to support the areas of Marine Biology, Oceanography, or Fisheries (or related areas), to support the research or academic missions of the school.
Positions typically perform one or more of the following
functions: scientific data analysis; scientific report writing; scientific sampling or analysis; assisting with laboratory experiments; running, testing or troubleshooting scientific equipment/instruments; support of general scientific laboratory or field site activities.

THIS IS A POOL POSITION; SUCCESSFUL ACCEPTANCE INTO THE POOL DOES NOT GUARANTEE A JOB OFFER NOR REVIEW OF APPLICANT MATERIALS.  
Knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position. Experience and knowledge of science practices, procedures, and activities related to areas of Marine Biology, Oceanography, or Fisheries (or related areas) (this is dependent upon specific position).  
Typical education or training required for this position (including licenses). Training in scientific laboratory and/or field site techniques in
areas of of Marine Biology, Oceanography, or Fisheries (or
related, applicable) areas.
