Responsibilities*
The primary responsibilities of this position include academic advising and coordination of key programming efforts in the Department of Psychology, as well as providing student services support to undergraduate students and potentially some graduate students.

Required Qualifications*
Bachelor's degree in student affairs, education, psychology, or related field which includes the broad-based study of student development, social identity, student learning, and basic statistics to complement relevant skills sets. The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively, efficiently, and sensitively with a diverse group of students, faculty and staff with confidential materials and situations. Ability to work independently and manage several tasks at once in a high-traffic, fast-paced and ambiguous setting. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency with spreadsheet, word processing, and database software applications.
Desired Qualifications*
Master's Degree in higher education, college student personnel administration, education, psychology, or related field which includes the broad-based study of student development, social identity, student learning, and basic statistics to complement relevant skill sets. Two years of experience advising students and engaging in group process and programming outreach events. Two years of presentation experience in a college setting. Successful history of working in a team setting and offering exemplary customer service. Experience with student records modules of M-Pathways. Familiarity with LS&A and University student administration procedures and policies.

Additional Information
The salary range for this position is $47,000 to $58,500, please note a higher salary may be offered based on equity and the selected candidate's experience.
