Summary of Job Duties:

A full-time post-doctoral associate position is available in the Department of Plant Pathology at the University of Arkansas. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing plant and bacterial transcriptomics data

Qualifications:

A PhD in bioinformatics. Expertise on statistics is also desirable. The applicant will analyze large transcriptomics datasets obtained by RNA-seq. It is also expected that the applicant will contribute with statistical analyses of other projects, write manuscripts, present results at national and international conferences and, contribute in the writing of grant proposals. The applicant should have the ability to work as member of the team and mentor graduate and undergraduate students.


Salary Information:

Commensurate with education and experience
