Job Description |
Nestled in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, Blue Ridge Community College has been equipping students, alumni, and employees with the knowledge and experience to transform themselves, the community, and the world for over 55 years. Blue Ridge Community College invites applications from licensed veterinary technicians for a part-time position supporting the Veterinary Technology Program. The position involves supervising students in laboratory and clinical settings, laboratory preparation and maintenance, providing veterinary care to animals and other program-related functions alongside a large team of experienced, talented veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
Program facilities are well equipped for all aspects of veterinary technology instruction in delivering a broad array of courses. The program benefits from strong college administration and community support.

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor. |
KSA's/Required Qualifications |
Required qualifications include current licensure as a veterinary technician in Virginia (or eligibility for immediate licensure), effective verbal and written communication skills, and a commitment to educating program students.

Previous experience in an academic setting and recent clinical experience.
