STARTING SALARY RANGE: $57,843.30 - $67,056.22 commensurate with the agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MEA Administrators Bargaining Unit, Level V, pending classification.

DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Associate Dean of Students Student Success, the Director of Admissions is responsible for providing creative and energetic leadership in the colleges recruitment and admissions activities. They will have responsibility for supervising the Admissions staff, designing and implementing recruitment events, fostering relationships with feeder institutions in the region and assisting the Dean of Students and Enrollment Management & Associate Dean of Student Success with the development of the Colleges Strategic Enrollment Management Plan (SEMP).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters Degree or 5-7 years progressively responsible experience in recruitment and/or college
admissions in higher education
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters Degree in Higher Education
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and presentational communication skills
- At least 3-5 years experience in post-secondary admissions, advising, college recruiting, and transfer or career counseling
- Knowledge of student development, curriculum planning, and understanding the needs of both non-traditional and traditional-aged college students.
- Must possess a valid drivers license and be able to drive college vehicles within and outside of the state of Maine.
