The position is funded by State/USDA project The successful candidate will work under the guidance Dr. Aaron Mazzeo (PI).

The postdoc will focus on designing and executing experiments for the sanitization of fresh produce. There will be opportunities to design flexible devices for creating cold plasma, along with its associated packaging. It will be necessary to take manual measurements to characterize the products of the cold plasma. Written and oral reports will ensure the project is on pace to meet appropriate milestones
For this project, we are looking for a self-motivated, independent individual who minimal supervision.

Minimum Education and Experience

Candidate should have background in : Design and Execution of Experiments, Fabrication of Devices, Material Processing
Should be highly motivated candidates with a Ph.D. degree / specialty in Mechanical or Materials Science Engineer
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Previous experience with Fabrication of Devices, Material Processing

The candidate should have experience with microelectromechanical machines (fabrication and applications), electronics, completing a PhD in electrical engineering, designing devices for animals, and mentoring undergraduate students.
