Summary of Position
Keene State College is seeking a creative, forward thinker to join our “Owls” Admissions team as an Assistant Director of Admissions. Essential to the fulfillment of our enrollment goals the Assistant Director shares with all admissions officers common responsibilities representing Keene State College to all interested students with a focus on new initiatives to increase enrollment.
Additional Responsibilities include: communicating with prospective students by attending college fairs, visiting high schools both in-person and remotely in assigned territory; participating in campus programs and open houses; reading and reviewing applications for admissions in a paperless system; developing and maintaining territory management plan to build connections with prospective students and families; collaborate with academic departments regarding new initiatives to increase enrollment.

Other minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (required by time of appointment) and four years of related experience in higher education (student experience will be considered) or secondary school education. Proven oral and written communication skills; demonstrated experience with MS Office systems, including Word, Excel and relational databases; valid driver’s license also required. Evening and weekend travel is required.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Additional related experience in counseling, advising and financial aid. Territory management plan experience or other related type planning; ability to work independently and part of a team; proven collaboration skills. Additionally, the College has identified desirable qualifications that support our commitment to creating and maintaining a diverse campus community including the ability to speak a second language or to bring a multicultural perspective to the campus.

Support Granite Edvance through the Apply NH initiative – in an effort to increase the number of high school seniors applying to college.
