We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our team in either Culver City or in San Mateo. This role requires depth in software core competencies, along with a strong interest in developing automation infrastructure, extending test coverage, generating reports, and collaborating with Product Managers and Software developers to investigate issues. Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert in our product features
  • Develop the test plan for your assigned functional area.
  • Test and report on functional issues, system stability, performance and general usability
  • Working closely with engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and testing approach
  • Determine what can/should be automated and work with the teams to make it happen.
  • Create metrics and reports on status of quality, technical operations, and system performance. Drive towards agreed upon quality
  • Work effectively with product managers, designers, engineering, and business teams to deliver the best overall experience factoring in financial goals and usability goals

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
  • Experience in manual testing
  • Experience in automation testing
  • Experience scripting or coding, preferred in Python
  • Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects

This position can be based in either Culver City, CA or San Mateo, CA and the candidate must reside in those Greater Areas as you will be required to go into the office on a hybrid work schedule.

The base salary range for this position in California is $85,000 - $100,000.
