Your Role

The Population Health Management team responsible for implementing whole person integrated healthcare by engaging members, reducing disparities and gaps in care, improving quality for our members. The Product Owner (PO) will report to the Sr. Director, Population Health Management, and represents the "voice of the customer" or proxy for the business into the Agile Team to ensure the right product features are built at the right time by working with the product management team to define the product strategy, vision, and roadmap to meet customer needs. Your Work

In this role, you will:

• Empowers the Agile team members and teams to deliver the best solution to the market presented by the Agile Product Management team.
• Collaborates with the Agile team to prioritize the user stories and Agile team's backlog. Builds and maintains the Agile team's backlog of prioritized user stories, with regular refinement based on value, size, and dependencies.
• Authors the acceptance criteria. Sets the acceptance criteria for the Stories in the team's backlog and ensures that the team's output meets it prior to production release.
• Understand the business portfolio and product strategy and priorities and represent those in the Agile Team's work.
• Prepares for, and participates in, PI Planning for the Portfolio/Agile Release Train (ART) to plan upcoming work, including aligning on interdependencies and sequencing.
• Identifies and mitigates risks raised by the Agile Team and partners with other roles on the team to provide recommendations and a path to resolution.
• Accepts iteration increments, participates in team demo and retrospectives and all agile ceremonies at the team, portfolio level or program level.
• Represents the Agile Team into the Portfolio/Agile Release Train (ART) and/or Product Owner (PO) Syncs for collaborative work planning across teams, where necessary.
• Provides support to the stakeholder and subject matter expert network to support the prioritization and execution of work across the Team's scope.
• Understand the scope of upcoming enabler work and collaborate with technologists and architects to enable prioritization and risk mitigation.
• Participates in team demos and retrospectives.

Your Knowledge and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree is required, plus 7 years implementing Agile methodologies or similar experience implementing complex initiatives and/or products.
• MBA degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of product development, value stream/journey mapping and related techniques.
• Requires Scaled Agile (SAFe) certification: Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), Scrum Master (SM), Agile Product Management (APM) or SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC).
• Preferred knowledge of the business and product strategy scope.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is: $ 118800.00 to $ 178200.00 for California.
