The NC State Global Communications Assistant will collaborate with staff on both new and ongoing communications tasks. The Communications Assistant will be expected to commit 5-8 hours per week. Remote work is allowable for this position.

Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm (Work outside of business hours may be required)Other Work/Responsibilities
- Write and proofread news stories and other content to be published on websites and through social media
- Edit and build content on NC State Global’s WordPress websites
- Design and edit flyers, logos, and other marketing materials for NC State Global
- Coordination of NC State Global social media presence on Instagram and LinkedIn
- Other duties as assigned

- Use of Canva and Adobe Suite
- Social Media management and content creation
- WordPress management and content creation
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team requiring minimal supervision
- Experience with writing and creating content, as well as proofreading
- Proficient in Canva, Google Suite
- Ability to use WordPress and Adobe Suite
