NaphCare is hiring an experienced Registered Nurses to serve as Training and Compliance Coordinator, just like you at the San Diego County Jail located in San Diego, CA. Full Time Day Shift. Pay rate ranges from $40.00 - $50.00 per hour based on employment status, shift, site needs, and experience.

NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up-to-date. This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing.

Position Description:

  • Must hold and maintain a current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in California. Previous experience in clinical education preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience required.
  • Previous education experience preferred.
  • Coordinate, develop and implement processes for providing clinical education for all facilities.
  • Work in collaboration with Nursing leadership to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of clinical services.
  • Ensure that Continuous Quality Improvement studies are being conducted, evaluated, and communicated appropriately.
  • Ensure required Corrective Action Plans (CAP) are completed in a timely manner and results are communicated through the appropriate processes.
  • Schedule and conduct Medical Audit Committee, Infection Control Committee, and CQI committee meetings in accordance with accreditation standards.
  • Conduct audits of patient Electronic Health Records to ensure that patient care is being rendered and documented in accordance with local, state and national standards.
  • Assist with onboarding processes.
  • Assist with orientation and training of new clinical staff members in coordination with county nursing leadership.
  • Coordinate ongoing readiness for accreditation processes and participate in surveys.
  • Collaborate with HSA to conduct monthly staff meetings with NaphCare employees.
  • Work with HSA and county leadership to fulfill the contractual requirements related to training, education and accreditation compliance.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
