Summary of Position

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining endpoint management solutions utilizing tools such as Intune, JAMF and CrowdStrike. This individual will work closely with system administrators, network engineers, and security professionals to ensure the security and reliability of the environment. In compliance with industry standards and regulations they will develop procedures, manage endpoint security incidents, and provide technical guidance and support to other members of the team. In addition, an ideal candidate would have a background in project management and cyber operation.

  • Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience in related field, Associate’s and three years, or combination of education and experience equal to five years.
  • Strong understanding of Windows, Apple, Microsoft 365 patching and updating processes.
  • Project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to endpoint security.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and processes.
  • Customer centric attitude possessing strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain an elevated level of knowledge and expertise in core enterprise environments: JAMF, Windows/Apple Updates, Intune, Microsoft 365, CrowdStrike and AppsAnywhere.
  • Maintain standardized system configurations across operating environments.
  • Ensure all security and driver updates are evaluated and consistently applied to all endpoints.
  • Assist with management and deployment of endpoint software and policies.
  • Manage endpoint security incidents and provide timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for both internal and external audiences.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Meet endpoint support and service delivery objectives through the design, development and delivery of custom solutions related to automation, monitoring, and application performance optimization.
  • Evaluate new products/services in a lab environment and provide effective solutions to meet client needs.
  • Assist in managing and resolving tickets in tier 2 support queues. Including customer facing on site support.
  • Maintain the University’s software portfolio utilizing Microsoft Company Portal and AppsAnywhere.
  • Install, configure, monitor, and maintain university approved applications.

Duty/Responsibility

Intune Administration:
  • Managing and maintaining the Microsoft Intune environment for the University System of New Hampshire.
  • Provide both onsite and remote support to community members.
  • This involves troubleshooting software and hardware issues, ensuring smooth operations for end-users.
  • Create and manage compliance policies to ensure devices adhere to security standards.
  • Manage software deployment, updates, inventory, and security settings.
  • Create and deploy configuration profiles.
  • Maintain and design endpoint environments, including desktops, laptops, and virtual machines. Assist with projects that are assigned to the team.

Duty/Responsibility

JAMF Administration:
  • Managing and maintaining the Mac OS and JAMF environment for the University System of New Hampshire.
  • Provide both onsite and remote support to community members.
  • This involves troubleshooting software and hardware issues, ensuring smooth operations for end-users.
  • Install, configure and maintain operating systems, servers, networks, and software applications. Monitoring system performance and promptly addressing any issues will be crucial.
  • Participate in projects such as system upgrades and security rollouts.
  • Testing and qualifying new hardware and software for the organization will also fall under your purview.

Duty/Responsibility

Endpoint Environment Security:
  • Safeguard the organization’s endpoints from security threats.
  • Design, implement, and manage endpoint security solutions.
  • Monitor network and endpoint security systems to detect and respond to security incidents promptly.
  • Conduct routine security assessments to identify potential weaknesses in the endpoint environment.
  • Actively participate in cybersecurity projects, contributing to the development and maintenance of the organization’s overall security strategy.

Duty/Responsibility

Engineering Testing & Imaging:
  • Create and manage standardized system images for deployment across an organization. Customize images with necessary software, configurations, and security settings.
  • Coordinate with IT teams to ensure consistent deployment of images.
  • Meet endpoint support and service delivery objectives through the design, development and delivery of custom solutions related to automation, monitoring, and application performance optimization.
  • Evaluate and verify the functionality of various new technology’s and platforms in a lab environment.
  • Identify and diagnose hardware defects or malfunctions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Duty/Responsibility

Documentation:
  • Create and maintain proper documentation for existing systems, programs, program changes, and new programs as needed.
  • Maintain SOP’s for current processes.
  • Coordinate with Enterprise Help Desk Team to make sure documentation meets needs.
