HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR MISSION
The Pricing Clerk performs all job assignments with a positive attitude that supports San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance's mission and vision of saving species worldwide by uniting our expertise in wildlife care and conservation science with our dedication to inspiring passion for nature and leading the fight against extinction. The Pricing Clerk under general directions primarily focuses on processing orders from vendors of goods to be sold in SDZ Wildlife Alliance stores. This position reports to the Lead/Merchandising Warehouse Manager.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Creates price tags on a label printer
- Prices merchandise
- Processes incoming orders
- Validates items against purchase orders
- Checks quality and quantity of incoming merchandise
- Enters into inventory system
- Prepares various reports as needed
- esearches and reconciles discrepancies
- Provides leadership on large orders requiring a team effort
- Under general direction, provides training, guidance, and constructive communication
- Seeks operational improvements and improved efficiencies
- Identifies problems and seeks solutions
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A motivated team player who is outgoing and feels comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Basic ability to use a computer for inputting data and calling up reports. Must be at least 18 years of age. This position requires successful completion of physical ability test.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

- Position Type: Hourly Part-Time Non-Exempt Union Position - If selected, there will be fees and dues to be paid to the union
- Hourly Rate: $17.00
