Job Title: Database Architect
Location: San Diego, CA
Duration: 5 months
Interview: 2 video and one onsite.

Job Description:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Leverages advanced Software knowledge and experience to design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs.
  • Analyzes user needs, software requirements, and time and cost constraints to design and customize software for optimal operational efficiency.
  • Designs and implements software modules for large-scale products and systems.
  • Participates in and leads design, coding, unit testing, debugging, and integration efforts to ensure projects are completed to specifications and schedules.
  • Performs complex code reviews and regression tests as well as triages and fixes issues to ensure the quality of
    code.
  • Collaborates with individuals outside the software function (e.g., Hardware, Systems, and Test engineers) to ensure solutions work with other components of a specific project.
  • Writes detailed technical documentation for complex Software projects.
  • Database architect to design and implement databases on-prem and in AWS cloud
  • Engineer is also responsible to collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, design and implement graph database (Knowledge Graph) capturing domain knowledge involved in the analytical workflow

Top 5 Required Skills
1.??? 2 + years of work experience with Python, Shell scripting, PL-SQL and SQL programming
2.??? 2 years or more experience with databases PostgreSQL ,querying (SQL), and data modeling.
3.??? Extensive Data Modeling and Database design and tuning; fluent in View creation and optimization
4.???Experience developing AWS Data Warehouse and schema support
5.?? Experience working with domain-specific Knowledge Graph

Technologies:
  • Experience building data infrastructure supporting execution of an analytic workflow modeled through Knowledge Graph
  • Experience with Power BI and Excel Dashboard development
  • Experience with Tibco Data Virtualization
  • Experience with Statistical Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning models
  • Experience with AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Aurora Serverless PostgreSQL + S3 + Glue + Athena + File gateway + IAM + Lambda.

Required Education:?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Statistics or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience
    -OR-
  • Master's Degree Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Statistics or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience
