Other minimum qualifications

1. High school graduation and five years of related experience involving progressive responsible duties requiring discretion and independent judgment or Associate’s Degree and three years of related experience or a combination of higher education and related experience equal to five years.
2. Comprehensive computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 and software applications such as UShop and Workday.
3. Experience in public relations, program coordination, and office management.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and the general public.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2. Supervisory experience.
3. Experience gained at UNH or within the University System.
4. Experience using Salesforce is a plus.

Duty/Responsibility

  • Provide experienced programmatic support to the Sustainability Institute and its affiliated programs, including communicating general program information, scheduling and coordinating meetings and events, and organizing travel.
  • Field questions, phone calls, and general e-mails; represent the Institute at on-campus events as required.

Duty/Responsibility

  • Provide experienced administrative support to the Executive Director and the leadership team, managing complex calendars and scheduling, coordinating meeting and travel arrangements, booking meeting space, catering, and related arrangements, and preparing necessary documents and agendas as required.

Duty/Responsibility

  • Work with colleagues to provide timely financial backup, travel reimbursements, honoraria and related administrative duties.
  • Assist with budget planning and monitoring of UNHSI budgets as assigned.

Duty/Responsibility

  • Provide general office management, such as communicating office policies and procedures, purchasing and managing use of shared office supplies, and typing and distributing agendas, meeting notes, and reports as needed.

Duty/Responsibility

  • Supervise student workers and student interns as assigned.
  • Assist colleagues with hiring paperwork for staff, students, and faculty scholars.
