Riggs Community Health Center, Inc. is a privately operated 501(c)(3), and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). Riggs CHC is dedicated to the mission of improving access to quality, cost effective, comprehensive health care with respect and compassion to under-served community members. We serve over 60,000 unique patient visits annually. With a diverse population, we strive to be the preferred health care provider for patients seeking primary care, women’s health and prenatal specialty, dental, chiropractic, pharmacy, pediatric, behavioral health, and many other integrated services. Riggs CHC currently operates 5 clinics in 3 counties, Tippecanoe, Boone, and Clinton County.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, compassionate, community-minded, and visionary leader to serve as our Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Working closely with our Board of Trustees, and close leadership partnerships, the CEO will be responsible for providing strategic planning, driving organizational growth and sustainability, and advancing our mission of delivering equitable, affordable, and accessible healthcare services to those in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and vision to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services in alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation among staff, board members, and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, funders, and regulatory agencies.
• Oversee financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation to support operational efficiency and sustainability.
• Lead fundraising and development efforts to secure resources and support expansion initiatives.
• Represent Riggs Community Health Center, Inc. in local, state, and national forums to advocate for healthcare equity and access.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of organizational leadership experience in a healthcare or nonprofit organization, preferably in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or community health setting.
• Strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems, regulatory compliance, and healthcare financing.
• Proven track record of strategic planning, organizational development, and performance improvement.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Master's degree or higher in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field is preferred, but not required.
