The Friday Conference Center provides quality leadership and resources for successful meetings for clients and visitors from the University, local, state, national, and international organizations, professional associations, and corporations. Programs vary in size from five to 1000 participants and many are multiple days in length.
The Conference Set-Up Coordinator is responsible for staging and striking all meeting functions. This position requires heavy lifting, pushing and pulling of tables, chairs and furniture. A working knowledge of room set-ups, services, and policies related to special events is required. The Conference Set-up Coordinator must be able to provide general facility information to guests and resolve guest issues promptly and with great care and effectiveness. A strong attention to detail, a constant awareness of safety issues, and a commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction is required.
