Counselor, International Students - Part Time

Class Description
The purpose of this class is to assist International Students with program development, advisement, interpretation and implementation of CCBC policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education, Student Development, Counseling, Education or related field. Prior experience and responsibility in enrollment management and working with international and multicultural students required.
Class Specific Essential Duties
- Provide immigration and academic advisement.
- Process international admission intake and pre-admission counseling.
- Co-advise the International Student Club plan special events and activities.
- Compile reports and maintain correspondence with prospective students.
- Provide information to students, their sponsors and the college community.
- Assist with compliance efforts with the regulations of the Department of Homeland Security.
