Peraton is searching for a talented Field Support Services Specialist to become part of Peraton's Citizens Security & Public Services.
Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities:
- Resolve complex technical issues for various devices.
- Utilize Incident Management Tools for ticket management.
- Respond to remote support calls and troubleshoot connectivity problems.
- Address software deployments, patches, and antivirus issues.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft systems and Active Directory.
- Maintain customer satisfaction and handle complaints professionally.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent with additional advanced training; minimum of 3 years of experience.
- US Citizenship
- Proven track record as a Computer and Network Printer Repair Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and network configurations.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Experience in printer maintenance and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Printer+ certifications are advantageous.
