About the Role:

Employed through a preferred contingent supplier to support projects on-site or off-site for neurocrine.

Your Contributions (include but are not limited to):
  • We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized person with a passion for science and the ability to quickly learn new lab techniques

  • Working under the supervision of a senior scientist you will assist with protein purification and characterization

  • You will work with Cytiva Akta protein purification equipment and a variety of characterization techniques

Requirements:
  • BA/BS in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or other relevant discipline with strong GPA

  • Laboratory experience in protein purification including at least some of the following chromatography methods: protein A affinity, ion exchange, hydrophobic interaction, immobilized metal affinity and size exclusion

  • Knowledge of standard protein characterization is also desirable

  • Experience with standard laboratory instrumentation

  • Ability to maintain accurate detailed documentation of experiments essential

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Willingness and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Good multitasking, trouble shooting and deductive reasoning skills
