Nature of Work
Provide leadership and oversight in developing institutional programs so that all students are welcome and afforded meaningful access to the privileges and opportunities available to the campus community. Create a supportive environment for students and a more meaningful and engaged student experience. Responsible for shaping and advancing initiatives in support of the College’s values, goals, and priorities with emphasis on promoting retention and degree attainment.

Examples of Work Performed
  • Work collaboratively with the campus community to create an environment that supports a safe and welcoming teaching and learning environment which provides opportunities for meaningful access and engagement for all students.
  • Serve as a mentor and support system for students from underrepresented communities and perspectives.
  • Develop and manage agreements and pathway programs with stakeholders (including but not limited to Little Priest Tribal College, Nebraska Indian Community College).
  • Advise student groups associated with underrepresented communities.
  • Perform all duties associated with the NCAA Athletic Diversity and Inclusion Designee. Designee will be the point person for all diversity and inclusion-related information between conference offices, campuses, and the NCAA.
  • Manage the international programs office by supporting students, engaging the community, and developing and managing agreements.
  • Convene and support the President’s Advisory Council.
  • Manage the unit’s budget.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience leading and managing programs promoting student engagement and meaningful access and opportunities to all students.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong programming experience.

Salary Information
Competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Attractive and comprehensive fringe benefit package. Annual salary range is $63,000-$78,000.
