Position Information

 

TITLE: On-Campus Introduction to Computers Instructor

STATUS: Part-time – Non-benefited position; Bottineau Location

JOB DESCRIPTION: Dakota College at Bottineau is seeking an instructor to teach Introduction to Computers beginning fall of 2024 on-campus. This course is a general education course offered to freshman and sophomore undergraduate students. The person selected for this position will be responsible for the planning, implementation, teaching, and evaluation of student learning experiences. Blackboard is the Learning Management System utilized by the institution.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Master’s degree in information technology, computer science, or closely related discipline, excellent written and oral communication skills, and strong technology skills.

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Experience teaching at a community college, Blackboard LMS Experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: DCB does require a successful background check for the selected candidate prior to beginning employment.

SALARY: $1875

CLOSING DATE: Screening will begin April 8, 2024, or until a qualified candidate is hired.
