Essential Job Duties

Assist with ongoing experiments in reproductive ovine physiology, which may include, but is not limited to, preparation of laboratory solutions, labeling tubes, laboratory equipment setup/testing/maintenance, general cleaning and organization of laboratory spaces, chemical inventory, processing samples, conducting various assays, and analyzing and presenting data.

Work Schedule:
Between 8am-4pm Monday to Friday; some weekends and/or holidays may be required

  • 4 year degree; or an equivalent combination of training and/or related experience

Department Required Skills

  • Proficiency with using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs.  

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education

  • MS degree in field related to reproductive physiology 
  • Experience using immunohistochemistry and RNAscope 
  • General knowledge of biology, chemistry and mathematics 
  • Education in advanced reproductive sciences as well as teaching experience as this position may involve training others in the laboratory 

Required License or Certification

  • Valid driver’s license
