Summary

The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a Research Assistant to support several studies focused on mental health. In this role, you'll assist with several ongoing clinical research projects seeking to develop mHealth interventions for youth and adults. Your main responsibilities would include assisting with study management, enrollment of study participants, and conducting study assessments. You'll also be involved in testing and delivering interventions in accordance with study protocol.

Required Qualifications*

  • High School Diploma.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to problem-solve and work independently. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

Desired Qualifications*

  • Associate's Degree in a Health Science field (including Psychology, Public Health, Social Work, or other health related discipline), or an equivalent combination of related education and experience. 
  • An understanding of medical terminology, experience in a large complex healthcare setting, ability to effectively communicate with staff and faculty of all levels, and knowledge of university policies and procedures. 
  • Familiarity with health related research
  • Familiarity with conducting clinical assessments
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Excel, Qualtrics, and at least one data analytic software (e.g. R, SPSS, SAS, etc.)

Work Locations

This work will primarily take place at the Rachel Upjohn Building (4250 Plymouth Rd., Ann Arbor, MI). 

There is flexibility for some remote work.

Background Screening
