We are seeking dynamic and innovative Mechanical Engineering Internfor our San Diego office full-time during the summer months of 2024. This is a great opportunity to learn more about your chosen field! The ideal candidate will be a student who wishes to increase their knowledge of commercial, institutional, and industrial structures, learn about computer analysis software systems, and work in a professional fast-paced environment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
• Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel preferred.
• Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Enrolled as a full-time student in a structuralengineering program at a nationally recognized, accredited college.
• Three years of required courses completed towards an undergraduate mechanical engineering degree.
• Understanding of AutoCAD
• EIT preferred.

Expected hourly rate: $22.00 - $25.00.
