Position Description
Position Requirements
- Master’s degree required; Ph.D. preferred.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing and submitting grant requests for proposals (RFPs).
- A minimum of three (3) years of grant writing or multi-grant management experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the grant application process, scoring criteria, and funding cycles.
- Demonstrated experience working with federal grant applications, submissions, approvals, and management of funds.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in overseeing and managing both pre-award and post-award activities.
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to building a robust, campus-wide grants culture.
- Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required
Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience
- Five (5) plus years of experience as a successful grant writer or managing a grant development and management operation.
- Previous grant budget development, management, and evaluation experience.
- Ability to understand and work with financial and payroll activity from multiple sources.
- Designation of Certified Research Administrator (CRA), Certified Financial Research Administrator (CFRA) or Certified Grants Management Specialist (CGMS).
