About the Role:We are seeking a laboratory assistant to assist in the production of monoclonal antibodies as well as other proteins. This would primarily include molecular cloning, DNA preparation, cell line maintenance, and transient transfection of production cell lines

Your Contributions (include but are not limited to):We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative person with a passion for science and the ability to quickly learn new lab techniques
Working under the supervision of a scientist you will assist with design, execution, and screening of antibody optimization campaigns using directed evolution screening platforms such as capture-lift or phage display
You will perform molecular cloning, site-directed mutagenesis, DNA gel electrophoresis and plasmid purification
Requirements:
0-2 years laboratory experience in directed evolution screening platforms such as capture-lift, phage display or yeast display
Molecular biology experience (DNA restriction digest, ligation, gel electrophoresis, PCR, plasmid prep) a plus
Knowledge of antibody assays such as ELISA a plus
Experience with standard laboratory instrumentation: PCR, centrifugation, DNA quantitation, gel documentation systems, plate readers and washers, liquid handling, etc. a plus
Ability to work safely and maintain detailed documentation of experiments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work in a team environment
