Essential Job Functions:

The incumbent must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to independently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with and manage cross functional teams to reach common project goals

  • Ability to analyze data to determine appropriate course of action. Supervisory Responsibilities: Functional guidance to on-site hotel and meeting planning management

  • Functional guidance to on-site vendors and suppliers during meeting sand events

Work Environment: The primary responsibilities of the job are performed while seated indoors at a computer terminal with little or no exposure to hazards.

Extended overnight travel is required approximately 35% of the time. Ability to perform some manual labor and lift up to 40 lbs.

Education (Required): bachelor's degree. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be substituted for degree.

Work Experience (Required): minimum of 3 years progressively responsible experience in the meeting and event planning industry as well as the travel industry.

Must have proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), extremely detailed and organized and able to prioritize work assignments.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills are necessary due to the volume of interaction with vendors and internal customers.

Work Experience (Preferred): Certified Meeting Professional and/or Digital Event Strategist designations are a plus.

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

$64,800.00 - $97,200.00
