Join the rehabilitation team at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego and Scripps Chula Vista as an Inpatient Physical Therapist, and partner with our dynamic team at this Level 1 Trauma Center and certified Stoke center to treat a wide variety of cases to include wound care. The ideal candidate will put themselves in the patient's shoes, and partner with this passionate team to provide excellent care to our local population.
The Physical Therapist (inpatient) at Mercy provides Physical Therapy evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment and education as prescribed by qualified medical practitioner in accordance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Title 16 requirements.
This is a full time varied 8 hour day float position located at Scripps Mercy Hospital and Scripps Chula Vista hospitals. 4 weekend days every 6 weeks required.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met
- Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
- Must remain in original department/specialty
- Must remain in original Job Title
- Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Requirements:
* Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
* Demonstrated ability to accurately evaluate, assess, and treat physical therapy patients
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written form
* Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
* Licensed or eligible for licensure as a PT in the State of California
* Current BLS Certificate from the American Heart Association
Preferred Experience:
* Fast paced experience working in an acute care setting
* Skills working in a level 1 Trauma Center
