Senior Analyst Inventory Control

Job Description

The Sr. Analyst is responsible for inventory control including all commercial inventory. Ensuring up-to-date and accurate data to support supply chain planning requirements and inventory targets. This role needs to ensure that Acadia adheres to company inventory and planning processes and targets.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain Work Orders in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to ensure accurate data for planning and reporting needs.
  • Ensure compliance to internal policies and SOX requirements for ERP transactions and reporting.
  • Issue and track POs to Contract Service Providers (CSPs) for the procurement of product(s) required to support supply chain needs.
  • Generate and distribute inventory reports, open order reports and other inventory related reports as required.
  • Assign and maintain item codes, sites, BOMs, Routings and planning data in ERP system as required.
  • Track and monitor raw materials, vendor lead times and ensure timely reporting and modeling.
  • Support logistics activities including requesting and tracking shipments.

Education and Experience

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in business, life science or related field.
  • Targeting 5 years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain materials management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of Inventory Control and ERP software systems and procedures. Experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred.
  • Strong experience maintaining Inventory Control systems and procedures
  • Experience with maintaining and ensuring adequate stock of drug product, active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and key raw materials.
  • Experience support logistics coordination and tracking desired
  • Strong analytical and computer skills required. Demonstrated proficiency in Excel.
  • Knowledge of inventory control activities.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills including ability to communicate with subject matter experts (SMEs) as well as CSP supply chain and project management teams.
  • Willingness to learn and work in a diverse team environment.
  • Ability to manage change in a dynamic environment.
  • Capability to identify and understand what needs to be accomplished and be willing to drive activities with minimal instruction or direction.
  • Work cross functionally within multi-departmental teams within and without the organization.
  • Proficiency at effectively prioritizing goals
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time both domestically and internationally.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, see, talk or hear in a standard office environment and independently from remote locations. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Ability to travel independently overnight up to 30% of the time and work after hours if required by travel schedule or business issues.

In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for discretionary bonus and equity awards based on factors such as individual and organizational performance. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance, and location.

Salary Range
$82,000-$102,000 USD
