About the Role...

The Laboratory Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the clinical laboratory management team of 4. This role will anticipate, prioritize, and successfully complete multiple tasks as required, as well as provide a high level of customer service internally and externally. This position requires exposure to confidential information requiring diplomacy, discretion, and judgment.

  • Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, meetings and coordinates related arrangements.
  • Prepares PowerPoint presentations and routine correspondence as directed.
  • Screens telephone calls and visitors, resolves routine and some complex inquires.
  • Guides visitors on tours of the facilities.
  • Assists in tracking expenses and preparing expense reports.
  • Prepares and maintains department regulatory records, instrumentation logs, and licenses.
  • Prepares and maintains employee regulatory files and assists with new hire integrations.
  • Tracks and assigns testing and trainings through the companies learning management system.
  • Serves as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company.
  • Acts as the communication hub for the department by attending all meetings and distributing meeting notes.

Your Experience...

  • 3+ years of previous administrative experience supporting multiple leaders simultaneously
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to recognize and maintain confidential information
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce high quality deliverables
  • Proficiency with modern office practices and proper use of programs such as Zoom and Teams
  • High School diploma minimum requirement. Bachelor's Degree desirable

POTENTIAL HIRING RANGE:

  • $52,000 - $62,400
  • Offers are based on skills, knowledge, and abilities of the selected candidate.
