The Supply Chain Manager SBU sits on the Operations Leadership Team representing Supply Chain and Demand Planning initiatives. The Demand aspect of this role involves acquiring regional forecasts and managing the distribution of high-value window films and industrial product finished goods to align with the needs of regional sales, service centers, and customers. The Planning component of this position is responsible for creating strategic plans based on the identified demand requirements.

This role focuses on enhancing the organization's Supply Chain through data-driven analysis and the application of Supply Chain theory and best practices. It involves utilizing sales and operations planning, analytics, and effective communication to serve a global customer base. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate master data, establishing reorder points for finished goods, and optimizing inventory movement to align with business objectives. The position also leads efforts in continuous improvement, spanning safety, quality, service, and cost efficiency, employing WCM lean and Six Sigma tools. Collaboration with regional teams, including sales, service center managers, customer service, and plant managers, is essential. Success in this role hinges on extensive experience, judgment, creativity, and strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities to achieve group goals.

Essential Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Oversees demand planning and optimizes sales and operations planning with regional-focused finished goods stocking strategies, ensuring high service levels and sales team success.
  • Promotes effective communication and fosters harmonious relationships both internally and externally.
  • Collaborates with regional sales and service center managers to establish lean-based FG reorder points and promptly addresses inventory needs.
  • Ensures International Distribution customers are satisfied by overseeing their specific requirements.
  • Develops master schedules based on historical data and sales insights.
  • Manages global capacity for materials, equipment, and labor, accommodating current and new business endeavors.
  • Achieves inventory goals by managing finished goods effectively.
  • Conducts research and analysis of performance trends, coaching teams to attain service level targets.
  • Takes charge of demand management, adjusting forecasts based on sales input and statistical analysis.
  • Leads monthly sales & operations planning meetings, reviewing results, and making necessary adjustments.
  • Leads the WCM Customer Focus & Service pillar, focusing on enhancing customer experience, availability, on-time delivery, and inventory optimization.
  • Manages department KPIs, generates reports, and recommends corrective actions to achieve goals.
  • Proposes working capital budgets aligned with service level and cost objectives.
  • Conducts performance management for direct reports.
  • Maintains ERP system parameters and data to support a functional MRP.
  • Provides monthly reports on Supply Chain metrics.

Essential Requirements for the Position:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management. Master's degree preferred.
  • 7 years of manufacturing experience
  • 5 years of experience in Master Scheduler/Materials Planning or related field.
  • 5 years of Demand Management experience in complex organizations with distribution (demand) and production (supply) coordination.
  • 5 years of strong knowledge in ERP systems and master data management, with a preference for SAP expertise.
  • Experienced in calculating and setting reorder points and safety stocks, considering various factors.
  • Proficient in managing forecasts with correct master data setup to ensure smooth demand flow.
  • Knowledgeable in Sales & Operations planning processes and demand management, coordinating with Sales and Operations managers to efficiently meet customer needs.
  • Skilled in developing and managing inventory strategies to align with regional customer requirements and financial objectives.
  • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, technical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities, adept at understanding customer needs and prioritizing actions.
  • Experienced in data analysis and presentation, including graphical representation.
  • Capable of developing and delivering presentations to various organizational levels.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position, which is $105,200 to $168,300 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 15% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $120,980 - $193,545. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
