Job Summary
A biotechnician will be responsible for small-scale and large-scale buffer preparation for in-house use and product sales; In addition to, other production support-related functions such as running SDS and IEF gels, ELISA's, and mycoplasma assays as needed. Must possess experience with buffer preparation calculations, autoclaving glassware and liquid sterilization. Additional duties will include washing glassware, buffer room upkeep, monitoring supply stock and ordering chemicals, and completing batch records.


The candidate will be a key member of our Manufacturing team and work closely with tissue culture, purification, conjugation, inventory control, BMIA, MCI, PD departments, purchasing, and planning areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing buffer manufacturing and other tasks as needed. The desired candidate must be a team player who is organized, has strong verbal and written communication skills, and can work in a fast-paced environment. Great attention to detail is also a skill that will allow the candidate to be successful. The candidate must also be able to multitask, work independently and meet deadlines.


Essential Functions

  • Perform buffer manufacturing for finished goods buffers as well as buffers to support purification, BMIA, MCI, and conjugation areas

  • Perform analytical assays such as SDS PAGE gels, IEF gels, and other assays as needed

  • Follow SOPs, batch records, and other compliance-related documentation

  • Experience working in a regulated environment such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, QSR, or GMP is preferred

  • Familiarity with inventory control and/or ERP systems is a plus

  • Other production support activities as needed

Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience

  • AA degree with a minimum of 2 yrs of industry experience

The base salary range for this full-time position is$21.62 - $23.20/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a laboratory environment with occasional data entry on a computer. Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment.
