Job Summary

TYLin is seeking a Project Controls Intern to join Our Rail and Transit team in San Diego. As an intern you will support our engineering teams with a variety of client projects.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, this can include updating project progress, and analyzing schedule performance
  • Provide support for cost estimating and budgeting activities, including collecting and analyzing data, preparing cost reports, and tracking expenses
  • Collaborate with the project controls team to ensure project plans are on track and delivering on key milestones
  • Assist with the preparation of project status reports and presentations, including designing graphs, charts, and other visual aids to effectively communicated performance
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as assigned by managers

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Construction Management or related field
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and engineering software
  • Prior experience working with Primavera P6 a plus
  • Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients' toughest challenges
  • High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of$20 - $30 hourly for this position and local market.
