Virtual Secure Enclave Engineer

Atlas Tech is seeking a diverse network and virtualization engineer experienced in Virtual Secure Enclave (VSE) or Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) who is well versed in data-at-use protection. This includes loading and troubleshooting network and datacenter builds and filling multiple roles for efforts in the San Diego, CA area.

Pay Range: $80,025 - $155,000, depending on experience

You Will:

  • Provide engineering solutions and test secure enclaves for data-at-use protection.
  • Supplement development and build activities such as Development / Integration (DevInt) deck loading.
  • Engineering Problem Report Remediation Desk (ERD) support.
  • Support development of network infrastructure of other subsystem features.
  • Support Lab environments for current and future generations of afloat Networks for the Navy DoD.
  • Provide expert level knowledge for DoD afloat systems engineering and information technology.
  • Assist in the development of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) while developing virtual secure solutions across software and hardware platforms and implement enhancements.
  • Proactively identify build problems and identify/document work arounds and fixes.
  • Develop and/or revise system designs and architectures to improve efficiency, stability, effectiveness, supportability, and sustainability.

You Have:

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • A minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) TS/SCI level Security Clearance or be able to obtain an interim security clearance prior to hire date.
  • Bachelors of Science degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physical Science required. Other Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/training may be substituted for four (4) additional years experience supporting the engineering of Information Technology systems for a DoD or Government Agency (for a total of ten (10) years).
  • Strong technical foundation in at least one the following areas:
    • Hardware-based or Trusted Computing Base (TCB) isolation.
    • Networking and Network Security
    • Administration, Cyber/IA Lockdowns/Controls)
    • ESXi/VSAN/datastore configurations and best practices.
  • Six (6) years experience (Mid) or 10 years experience (Senior) supporting the engineering of DoD Afloat Network systems.

We'd be Impressed if You Had:

  • Experience with Intel Software Guard Extensions (SGX), AMD Secure Encryption Virtualization (SEV), or AWS Nitro Enclaves.
