The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for a Program Manager to support an infectious diseases/defense health program in San Diego, CA.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support daily contract operations and ensure that contract management processes flow seamlessly,
• Maintain all performance management and staff training needs.
• Monitor project budget and forecast future needs to allow an agile response to program priorities.
• Assist with projecting and estimating travel needs and expenses.
• Identify potential barriers and provide solutions for project implementation challenges.
• Provide staff coaching and training.
• Ensure staff awareness and adherence to corporate communication, and policies and procedures.
• Act as a liaison between the technical customer and corporate personnel.
• Other duties as needed.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Bachelors' degree in a relevant field.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must have at least five (5) years' experience in program management; defense health leadership preferred.
• Must have experience and comprehensive knowledge of DoD health / related fields.
• Must have experience in directly supervising contractor employees.
• Must have experience in interviewing, hiring, and training contractor employees.
• Must have experience in addressing complaints and resolving problems.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have ability to obtain secret clearance.
